Kleinfeld Love Stories

Jamie & Kristian Lloret #coronabride - 8/8/20

About the Proposal

Engaged:

July 4, 2018

We met in 5th grade at the Benjamin School. Our friendship grew over time and by junior year in high school, I begged Kristian to take me to the Katy Perry concert over the summer. A few months later, we started dating and the “Fireworks” began. We traveled to Orlando to attend UCF in 2012 and fell in love.

With months of planning, Kristian came up with the idea to host a 4th of July BBQ with some of their friends and family in 2018. He made sure that no one would attend the fireworks at Interlachen Country Club that night. After Jamie requesting to play the Disney firework song, Kristian saw it as the perfect opportunity to get down on one knee and pop the question!

About the Dress

Kleinfeld Consultant:

Diane

My mom and I flew to NYC in March of 2019  for our appointment at Kleinfeld’s as my mom purchased her dress back when the store was in Brooklyn. She claimed it was the only place to buy a dress, and she was right! Our consultant Diane help me find the most perfect dress all while making me feel like I was the only bride in the store. I tried on the Dylan Dress from Hayley Paige’s Spring collection. I loved everything about it, but wanted to make a few minor tweaks. Diane brought Hayley in where we discussed some changes to the dress all to which Hayley agreed. I said Yes to the Dress with my mom and Hayley and Diane, my new favorite ladies!

My dress and arrived and it was absolutely perfect. The Dylan Dress was not an ivory tool and had an additional belt. The Hayley Paige veil pulled the whole look together. The detail and open back made my dress so fun to take pictures in. Also, the skirt of the dress was something I did not want to stop twirling in!

About the Wedding

Married:

August 8, 2020  //

Location:

United States  //

Venue:

Interlachen Country Club, Winter Park, Florida

Our wedding was scheduled for 4/4/20, but amidst the pandemic, we postponed it to May. Little did we know the Coronavirus was going to hang around for a lot longer. We made the decision to get married on 8/8/20 with a small guest list. People wore masks and had their temperature taken at the door (everyone was safe after our wedding!)  Our wedding coordinator, Lana from Fairbanks Flowers, truly transformed our wedding into an enchanted and romantic atmosphere. I did not want to leave our space under the hanging floral chandelier during the ceremony. Our outdoor ceremony was perfectly timed as Florida weather quickly moved in right after. People enjoyed a cocktail hour, a sit-down dinner, and an evening of live music and dancing.
