Engaged:

Jay proposed to Ariana in February of 2022 in Manchester, VT, at a lovely restaurant called The Reluctant Panther. The couple was reviving their tradition of long weekends spent skiing after COVID had put travel plans on pause.

After a delicious meal of local cuisine, Jay got down on one knee and popped the question – quick as can be! In fact, he moved so quickly that it took the restaurant patrons a moment to figure out what all the ruckus was about, but, once they did, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Oh, and she said yes!

Kleinfeld Consultant:

Upper East Side resident Ariana finally made her way downtown and said yes to a Martina Liana A-line gown at Kleinfeld’s. She was accompanied by her mother (and wedding planner, Nieves) and bridesmaids. Sadly, her grandmother was not able to attend the appointment as planned for health reasons, but Grandma Eileen, who generously gifted the dress, was there in spirit.

Jay and Ariana were married on August 12th at Chickadee Hill Farms in North Carolina, a farm and miniature horse rescue sanctuary. The wildflower-strewn ceremony took place in a shady grove of trees. The reception was held in the farmhouse surrounded by beautiful animals and rolling hills. Ariana’s mother, Nieves (better known as Events on the Lake) planned it all, putting together a beautiful day in the countryside everyone will remember.
