SUMMARY
Functions as initial point of contact for brides at the Kleinfeld Bridal store in Manhattan, introducing them to our complimentary service, Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks (KHB). Serves as the face-to-face contact with the bride, informing her of how the service works and how KHB makes the hotel blocking process easy. Generate in-store leads by collecting valuable information needed from brides who are interested in the service. Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks helps couples book the hotel accommodations for their weddings (or other events). What to look for in a bridal suite? Which hotels have the best rooftops for a summer wedding? This is the kind of lifestyle content you’ll be creating!
The Social Media Manager oversees managing the overall voice and brand for LM Media Worldwide, LLC and Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks social media channels.
They are expected to create and plan social content, perform daily engagement, and work with hotels to collaborate on marketing campaigns. Work with Director of Premier Partnerships to create videos and reels of Premier Hotels in the Premier Program. Will be responsible for going to hotels and hotel related events to gather content and edit them into videos. Will also be responsible for finding trending sounds, trends that can be applied to the bridal niche and creating cover images for the IG reels.
Job Responsibilities:
• Write content for posts, and post natively to LMM/KHB social platforms
• Oversee daily engagement on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram
• Keep an updated content calendar with release dates/content for posting
• Manage content in social media aggregator
• Plan social campaigns and coordinate special social projects
• Assist with brainstorming of original content and campaigns
• Advertising & Public Relations or Marketing majors preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of social media
• Strong organizational skills & good time management
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to think both creatively and strategically
• Write text and captions for all posts.
Software: Comfortable working knowledge of a video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or in app editing tools.
Compensation: TBD, works on monthly retainer
Hours: 10-20 per week, Monday–Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Some events may require working on nights and weekends (with advance notice).
