Stock Associate Job Duties:

  • Properly organize stock ensuring inventory is readily accessible and identifiable
  • Assist Bridal Consultants in finding dresses for the clients
  • Maintain displayed items on the sales floor
  • Organize try-on items
  • Assist in the identification of damaged or dirty items for repair or cleaning

Position: Financial Services Representative

Location: 110 West 20th St, NYC

Overall responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing all financial transactions
  • Respond to client inquiries pertaining to contracts, billing, payment and shipping
  • Perform data entry for all client orders
  • Schedule domestic and international shipping when required
  • Respond to client emails, inquiries and telephone calls

Functions as initial point of contact for brides at the Kleinfeld Bridal store in Manhattan, introducing them to our complimentary service, Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks (KHB). Serves as the face-to-face contact with the bride, informing her of how the service works and how KHB makes the hotel blocking process easy. Generate in-store leads by collecting valuable information needed from brides who are interested in the service. Diligently follows up with brides who are interested in the service but not ready to start the booking process. Key relationship-builder for the company; liaison between the Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks and the couples.


  • Greet and speak with brides waiting in the lobby for their dress appointment, creating clarity and comfort about the service they will be receiving.
  • Ambassador of Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks values and image.
  • Receives and inputs appropriate information from qualified brides.
  • Follows up with brides who are interested in the service.
  • Tracks the following metrics: number of in-store brides who are already working with KHB; number of brides interested in the service; potential brides who like to start working with KHB for a weekly record.
  • Required to be at Kleinfeld Bridal to meet with brides and their families when the store is open for appointments, Saturday, and Sunday


  • Customer focus – Must be personable and friendly and have high emotional intelligence and empathy. Outgoing and vivacious personality a plus.
  • Professionalism – Strong work ethic, presence, and knowledge about Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks and its essential functions. Neat and well-groomed appearance important.
  • Data entry skills – Input information from the brides into database in timely and efficient manner.
  • Hospitality interest or background a plus .

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for fitting/sewing of gowns in the alterations department
  • Provide courteous service and perform tasks in accordance with Kleinfeld Bridal fitting standards
  • Perform the work assigned by managers and supervisors
  • Complete fittings/gowns in a productive manner
  • Sew/bead bridal gowns with exact accuracy according to pins


  • Technical or design degree or 2-3 years equivalent experience

Job Type: Full time, 4 days a week, Must be available Saturdays, Seasonal Overtime hours.

Position: Director of Operations

Location: 110 West 20th Street, NYC

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of receiving, shipping, driver and maintenance.
  • Partner with Manager of Shipping and Receiving to communicate workload and priorities to staff
  • Schedule, coordinate and supervise quality of cleaning company making sure that they are working to our standards. Communicate any issues and walk the store daily to monitor standards.
  • Develop a detailed schedule for cleaning, painting changes and upkeep of entire store focusing especially on all customer areas.
  • Partner with all departments throughout the day and/or when needed on needs of business.
  • Assist with all operational needs.
  • Monitor store safety.
  • Receive calls regarding breeches, alarms not set, or responding or weather related issues so that building is secure.
  • Coordinate with Marketing/PR and Visual departments for setup of special events both in and outside of store.
  • Maintain relationship with building supervisors to stay abreast of building issues that may affect the store.
  • Responsible for making sure elevators, fire extinguishers, sprinklers and AC are properly maintained and working as well as keeping current on inspections.
  • Keep upper management informed of any issues.
  • Maintain overall positive attitude and professionalism at all times. 


  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, able to articulate and present ideas persuasively to all levels of the organization and vendors
  • Effective decision making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to participate physically to help and light construction knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be available to receive calls 24/7 concerning needs of the business to ensure building security
