Natasha & Kyle - 10/4/22

About the Proposal

Engaged:

January 1, 2022

It was a chilly winter evening in New York City. Crowds gathered in Times Square to celebrate the new year. My boyfriend at the time, Kyle, and I stood amongst the many people and watched as the countdown to midnight began. As the clock struck 12, confetti rained down from the sky and cheers erupted throughout the Square.

Amidst the chaos, Kyle got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. The crowd around us gasped and cheered as Kyle asked me to be his wife. Tears streamed down my face as I said “yes,” and he slipped the beautiful diamond ring onto my finger.

The surprises didn’t end there! As I turned to face the crowd, I saw my parents standing just a few feet away grinning from ear to ear. They had flown all the way from Australia to be there for the special moment. I couldn’t believe it! Overwhelmed with joy and gratitude surrounded by one of the most iconic places in the world, I hugged my parents tightly as the crowd continued to celebrate around us. The moment was perfect.

As I look back on that magical New Year’s Eve, I know what it was the start of a beautiful journey with the person I love most in the world!

About the Dress

Designer:

Maison Signore  //

Kleinfeld Consultant:

Candace

My wedding dress was a dream come true. It was a Maison Signore, sparkly, fit-and-flare gown with a sweetheart neckline that hugged my curves in all of the right places. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I knew it was the one!

For an added element of drama and romance, I paired it with a Martina Liana overskirt. It made me feel like a princess from a fairytale. To complete the look, I wore a long Toni Federici veil with crystal and pearl embellishment. The veil trailed behind me and sparkled in the sunlight as I walked.

As I looked back on the photos, I knew that the dress would always hold a special place in my heart and remind me of the incredible memories.

About the Wedding

Married:

October 4, 2022  //

Location:

Lake Como, Italy  //

Venue:

Villa del Balbianello

On October 4th, 2022, I married the love of my life at Villa de Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. It was the best week of our lives surrounded by our closest friends and family who had flown from the U.S. and Australia to celebrate with us.

On the day of our wedding, I got ready at Grand Hotel Tremezzo. Kyle got ready at Hotel du Lac in Bellagio which was just across the lake. As I slipped into my stunning wedding dress, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy and excitement.

My heart raced with anticipation as I walked down the aisle. We exchanged our vows and rings, and before we knew it, we were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony, we took photos in the villa’s gardens which were filled with blooming flowers and lush greenery.

After our photos, we headed to our reception. Starting with an aperitif, speeches from our loved ones followed. During dinner, we surprised our guests with a special performance by the three tenors. As the night progressed, we cut our cake and danced the night away with our loved ones.

When the night came to a close, we felt incredibly lucky to have shared this special day with our friends and family. We knew that the memories we had created in Lake Como would stay with us forever and that we had started our lives together in the most magical way possible.
