It was a chilly winter evening in New York City as the crowds gathered in Times Square to celebrate the New Year. My boyfriend Kyle and I stood amongst the throngs of people, watching as the countdown to midnight began.

As the clock struck twelve, confetti rained down from the sky and cheers erupted throughout the square. But amidst the chaos, Kyle had a surprise in store for me.

He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring, much to my shock and delight. The crowds around us gasped and cheered as Kyle asked me to be his wife. Tears streamed down my face as I said yes, and he slipped the beautiful diamond ring onto my finger.

But the surprises didn’t end there. As I turned to face the crowd, I saw my parents standing just a few feet away, grinning from ear to ear. I couldn’t believe it – they had flown all the way from Australia to be there for my special moment.

Overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, I hugged my parents tightly as the crowds continued to celebrate around us. The moment was perfect – I was surrounded by love and excitement in one of the most iconic places in the world.

As the night drew to a close, Kyle and I made plans for our future together. We knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we were ready to face them as a team.

And as I looked back on that magical New Year’s Eve, I knew that it was the start of a beautiful journey with the person I loved most in the world.

My wedding dress was a dream come true. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I knew it was the one. It was a Maison Signore sparkly fit and flare gown with a sweetheart neckline that hugged my curves in all the right places.

But I wanted to add a touch of drama to my look, so I decided to wear a Martina Liana overskirt. The overskirt added a whimsical touch to the dress, making me feel like a princess from a fairytale.

To complete the look, I wore a long Toni Federici veil with crystal and pearl details. The veil trailed behind me as I walked, sparkling in the sunlight.

And as I looked back on the photos from that special day, I knew that the dress would always hold a special place in my heart, reminding me of the incredible memories that I had shared with the love of my life.

On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, I married the love of my life at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. It was the best week of our lives, surrounded by our closest family and friends who had flown from the US and Australia to celebrate with us.

On the day of our wedding, I got ready at Grand Hotel Tremezzo while my fiancé prepared at Hotel du Lac in Bellagio, just across the lake. As I slipped into my stunning wedding dress, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy and excitement.

Walking down the aisle, my heart raced with anticipation as I was about to marry my best friend. We exchanged our vows and rings, and before we knew it, we were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony, we took some breathtaking photos in the villa’s gardens, which were adorned with blooming flowers and lush greenery.

After our photos, we headed to our reception, starting with an aperitif followed by speeches from our loved ones. During dinner, we surprised our guests with a special performance by the three tenors, filling the air with beautiful music and leaving everyone in awe.

As the night progressed, we cut our cake and danced the night away with our loved ones, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter and joy.

As the night drew to a close, we felt incredibly lucky to have shared this special day with our family and friends. We knew that the memories we had created in Lake Como would stay with us forever and that we had started our lives together in the most magical way possible.
