Kleinfeld’s Designer Series: Netta BenShabu

Next up on our Designer Series? Her designs are iconic, couture, and carefully handmade right in the heart of Israel. We’re proud to feature the one and only: Netta BenShabu.

We’re covering everything you need to know about Netta BenShabu wedding dresses including the designer’s background, the meticulous manufacturing process, pricing, customization options, as well as the brand’s unique identity.

Background

Founded in 2009 and formally debuted in 2013, the namesake couture fashion house was founded by Netta BenShabu. Born in Israel, Netta’s love affair with fashion began at a very young age. She refined her craft by mastering handbeading, draping, sewing, and bespoke tailoring. While Netta was trained under the direct influence of European couture techniques, she quickly adapted her collections to cater to brides around the world, and most specifically, the American bride. The Netta BenShau bridal line is new to Kleinfeld’s collection within the last few years and her distinct designs have rapidly risen to the top.

Inspiration & Identity

From whimsical ball gowns to hand-beaded fitted gowns, the Netta BenShabu bridal collections offer a wide assortment of couture bridal looks intentionally designed for the bride seeking a romantic, chic, opulent, modern, and fashion-forward ensemble. The luxury designer’s original inspiration drew from old Hollywood grace and glamour. Simply put, Netta BenShabu gowns present themselves like wearable art.

Production

Netta BenShabu dresses are crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Handmade in the designer’s Israeli atelier, Netta BenShabu prioritizes luxurious fabrics, such as silk satin, tulle, and hand-embroidered lace. Well known for her handbeading, her more ornate designs are densely embellished and bound to catch the light from every angle. Other key features of her designs include her signature figure-hugging silhouettes, corsetry, plunging necklines, illusion bodices, and open backs. Due to the precise and thorough production process, it is best to order your Netta BenShabu wedding dress at least 10-12 months in advance.

Pricing

Netta BenShabu prices start at $6,000 and can go up to $14,000 or more depending on the intricacy, fabric, and craftsmanship of the particular gown.

Customizations

Because of the designer’s haute couture background, hand craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail, Netta BenShabu offers a range of customization options. From unique accessorizing options, such as detachable overskirts and capes, to the ability to raise a neckline, add embellishment, or lower a backline, each bride can transform the look into one that is entirely her own. We encourage you to consult with your personal bridal stylist to learn more about the full extent of personalization opportunities.
