Brand History
Born in Tel Aviv, Alon Livné was an only child raised by Jewish parents with an Egyptian background. From the start, Livné knew he wanted to become a fashion designer. His passion sparked as early as the age of 11 when he illustrated his own children’s book. By the time he was 13 years old, Livné was already sewing clothing from his mother’s and grandmother’s old tablecloths.
Livné studied art and sculpting at various art-oriented high schools and later went on to the world-renowned Shenkar College of Art and Design to study Fashion Design. At the mere age of 17, he had already mastered the art of sewing and patternmaking.
Livné’s one-of-a-kind designs have now gained a large following through celebrities and influencers alike. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Naomi Campbell, Miley Cyrus, and more have worn his looks.
Similarly, major publications such as Vogue, WWD, Elle, V Magazine, NEO2, and Harper’s BAZAAR have all favored and featured Alon Livné couture designs.
Production
With all pieces handmade in the designer’s Israeli atelier, Alon Livné is classified as a couture designer. Modern technologies, such as laser-cutting and 3D printed leather patterns with uniquely contrasting fabrics, in addition to classic couture sewing techniques serve as the foundation of his craft. As a result, brides can expect impeccable craftsmanship, the utmost structured fit, hand draping, and the highest quality fabrics.
Pricing
Alon Livné bridal gowns generally start at $5,000 and can go up to $10,000 depending on the fabric, craftsmanship, and intricacy of the particular gown.
