Kleinfeld’s sample sales are not to miss out on, and for good reason. Hundreds of gorgeous wedding dresses, tons of veils, headpieces and jewelry—at a heavily discounted price. Thinking of attending the next sale? Here’s how to make the most out of it, below.
Bring a shopping buddy.
We know it’s tempting to invite a whole crew of people to our sales (a.k.a. more people to help you search!) but believe it or not, less is more. You’ll want to bring someone whose opinions you trust most, and too many opinions can make it difficult to decide! With that, we’d suggest bringing one close friend or family member to assist you.
Don’t put that dress down!
You’ve found your dream dress—that’s so exciting! Now, whatever you do, don’t put it down! There’s a very good chance your dress might be gone in the blink of an eye.
Come with inspiration in mind.
Whether you know which designers you like, what silhouettes you’re interested in trying on (think a-line, ball gown, fit and flare, etc.) or if you want lace, beading, or clean and simple, definitely bring inspiration along! If you’re looking for a specific designer, we usually carry Pnina Tornai, Hayley Paige, Pronovias, Lazaro and many more.
Think about your other bridal occasions too.
Even if you’ve already said “yes!” to your dream wedding dress, still make it a point to shop our sale. It’s a great opportunity to purchase a second dress for all of your other bridal-related activities, such as your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or reception.
Wear proper undergarments.
Our sales are always very busy, with lots of brides looking through our samples and inventory. With that, we definitely suggest that you wear proper undergarments, as you may need to share a dressing room with another bride.
Get here early.
The early bird gets the worm—or in this case, the dress! Our sales usually start in the mornings, but don’t be surprised if a line forms outside in the early AM. We highly recommend you arrive early, so that you can snag a great spot in line with the first look at our samples.
