I am a broadway performer. I have been doing Broadway musicals for over 15 years. I was in MOTOWN THE MUSICAL at the time of my proposal. I was expecting my then-boyfriend to attend the show with my mom. Little did I know, My entire cast and management knew that my proposal was to happen that night. As we danced and sang the songs of Motown I noticed a pair of modern NIKE sneakers on the stage. I was confused, having been in the show for over a year, I knew that wasn’t within the fashion of the show. As I followed that footwear up I realized it was my boyfriend of 6 years walking down the soul train line ONSTAGE. He got down on one knee in front of 1,700 people just as the curtain closed. I said Yes in the privacy of my loving cast and crew on Broadway at the LUNT-Fontane Theater!
About the Dress
My dress was the first one I tried on. A Lazaro with a drop waist mermaid feel. It made my curves look flawless. the perfect amount of sparkle without looking Gaudy or overstated. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!
