Designer:
Michelle Roth //
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Debbie
I always dreamed of going to Kleinfeld, and I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for: an a-line dress that wasn’t too heavy with some definite beading or sparkle. When I got to my appointment, Debbie immediately knew what I was looking for. I tried on five or six dresses, and the last one was it. I started to realize it when the family of another bride commented on how perfect it was. Debbie asked if I wanted to meet the designer, since it was a Michelle Roth trunk show. She came in, picked out a veil, and I got chills. However, I had one more dress appointment that day. Debbie completely understood, gave me her card, and told me to come back the next morning if I wanted the dress.
First thing the next day, my mom, sister, and I were back. When Debbie came out to meet me the first thing she said was “I was just telling Michelle that I had a feeling you’d be back.” They put the dress back on and knew it was the one. Michelle came and helped do my measurements, talking about how she would alter the pattern for me. I have never felt like more of a princess (other than on the wedding day itself!).
