Engaged:

I always wanted to do a picnic overlooking the Tuscan countryside in Italy. He prepared a romantic picnic dinner(since it was summer the sunset was around 9pm, so it was perfect). After finishing a good spread of dinner my ‘boyfriend’ wanted to take a picture which is very unlike him. We went to a spot with a beautiful view and he asked me to do my favorite pose..(where the girl looks towards the view with her hand behind her which the guy holds). He then whispered, “turn around.” When I turned around, I saw him on his knees asking me to marry him. I cried so much!

PS: I caught the bouquet at our friends wedding in Lisbon just a few days before he proposed to me, so I guess it was meant to be!

I literally went all over the world looking for my perfect wedding dress. I went to so many cities in Europe and a few cities in the States. Finally, I came to New York to visit my friends Rod and Monet. My stylist friend Rod took me to Kleinfeld Bridal and said that everyone finds their perfect wedding dress there.

I chose a couple of dresses to try on. I said “yes” to the first dress I tried on. I still remember my friend Rod crying as he saw me with that dress on.. so precious!

My husband is half German and half Nepali. We wanted to invite all our international friends and families to Nepal, this exotic destination, which many of them hadn’t visited. We wanted to make sure that they had the best wedding experience. The Dwarikas Dhulikhel Resort gave us such an outstanding service. Everything was so personalized and every single detail was on point. From the setup, to the orchestra singer, to the jazz band, to the DJ, and to the food..everything was perfect! (even after a big storm that took place few hours before the wedding).

We had our wedding at their resort in the foothills of the himalayas. It was so beautiful!
