November 20, 2016My mother passed away when I was 6 years old so my grandmother raised me. I am very close with her and I play scrabble with her every Sunday (she is 100 years old). One Sunday my husband and I were playing with her and he wrote will you marry me on my board so she could see the proposal—it meant so much to me!
About the Dress

DebbieMy dress is an Allure style and I bought at Kleinfeld. I loved how simple, classy, elegant and sexy it made me feel. I also purchased a Blossom Veils belt from Kleinfeld for the front to give it a little sparkle. I had half of the belt left over and had a headband made to match. I bought a long veil from Kleinfeld also to give a dramatic look in the church I got married in.

The MerionI was married in the same church my parents were married in. It gave it so much meaning and felt so special especially since my mother is deceased. Our reception was at the Merion in NJ, our room had a skylight dome looking through to the sky which made the reception incredible.
