Kleinfeld Love Stories: Maryam and Joseph

We went to Long Beach, NY to “grab drinks” with friends. Joseph was acting weird, so part of me thought, “Oh! Maybe it’s happening!” We walked on the boardwalk for a block until we reached a spot he picked out to propose. He started talking about how much he loved me and how he always knew this would be where he proposed because it’s where we came after our first date. Our best friend was hiding and ready to capture the special moment. After taking photos on the beach, we went to the Allegria Hotel for drinks. This is where he surprised me with both of our families!

My dress was everything I ever dreamed of! It was Martina Liana style 1059. The second I put it on, I was smiling ear to ear and jumping in excitement. When I walked out of the fitting room to show my mom and sister, immediate tears rolled down my face. We were all blown away by the elegance of the dress and how it looked like it was “made for me,” as my mother said. After trying on a handful of other dresses that were similar, nothing compared to the first dress. After putting it on a second time and having the same emotional reaction, we all knew it was the one!

Our wedding has been described to us in three words: elegant, timeless, and romantic. It was exactly the vibe we were hoping for! From the floral decorations, the beautiful mansion, to the crowded dance floor and show-stopping cake, everything was perfect. The black-tie affair truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with everyone we love.
