On March 18, 2023, my fiancé, Renzo, proposed at the breathtaking Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts—a place that felt like it was pulled straight from a storybook. Nestled on the coast with sweeping views of the Atlantic and miles of untouched nature, the estate set the perfect scene for a moment that would change our lives forever. The day was crisp and quiet with early hints of spring just beginning to awaken the landscape. We wandered through the estate’s grand lawns and historic gardens, the cool breeze brushing past us as we walked hand in hand. As we reached the top of the hill, with the ocean in the distance and the stately mansion behind us, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was intimate, meaningful, and completely perfect—a memory I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

My husband and I are passionate about travel and have always been drawn to Spain — the romance in the air, the food, and the vibrant culture. Being surrounded by 170 of our dearest friends and family from 17 states and 6 countries in a beautiful estate made it all the more meaningful. It was a truly global celebration of love. Our unforgettable wedding weekend took place in the vibrant heart of Barcelona, Spain on May 24-25, 2025 with perfect weather setting the tone for a celebration full of love, beauty, and unforgettable moments.

Festivities began on Saturday with a lively welcome party in downtown Barcelona. Held at a breathtaking venue with 360-degree views of the city, the evening was full of color, energy, and excitement. Guests embraced the spirit of the city in bright cocktail attire bringing Spanish flair to life. They brought the fuego and the dance moves powered by beats of our very talented DJ friends.

On Sunday, our wedding took place in the serene Spanish mountains tucked away in the rolling hills just outside the city. Our venue, La Baronia, provided a timeless, storybook setting that captures the essence of a romantic Spanish wedding. This historic Catalan mansion offers a unique blend of old-world charm and natural beauty making it a truly magical setting for a wedding. It was built in the early 20th century and designed by renowned Modernist architect Joan Rubio I Bellver who is a disciple of Gaudí, La Baronia. It features stunning architectural details, including grand stone staircases, ornate ceilings, and intricate ironwork. Surrounded by lush forests and with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coastline and the Serra de Collserola mountains, the estate offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. What we loved most about our venue was the convenience and proximity to downtown Barcelona, the food, and the variety of spaces we could use throughout the entire day of the wedding. Our ceremony and reception were nothing short of magical—timeless, elegant, romantic, and filled with European charm. Guests dressed in all-black for a chic, classy affair.

Every detail of the weekend reflected warmth, joy, and a deep sense of togetherness—an extraordinary celebration of love in one of the most beautiful places on earth and one of our favorite countries on earth!
