Kleinfeld Love Stories

Matt and I have been celebrating our “dating anniversary” every year in December. Each year, we go to New York City and see a Christmas show, have a romantic dinner and see the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. In 2014, we were getting ready for our anniversary night out when Matt yelled for me to come downstairs. I came downstairs to see “Will You Marry Me?” written on our mirror in the living room and the ring box sitting on a table below it. I was so shocked, but so happy!

I always knew I wanted that “fairytale, princess” dress. I came into Kleinfeld wanting something romantic, brand new and original. I fell in LOVE with my Bliss Monique Lhuillier dress not just because it was exactly what I had in mind but because of the blush underlay which fit perfectly with my bridesmaids’ blush dresses and the overall theme of the day. I wish I could wear my dress every single day.

Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. We got married at Hamilton Farm Golf Club surrounded by all of our friends and family. The day’s weather was literally perfect – 75 and sunny. We had florals every where – from the huge, organic bouquets to our floral arch at our ceremony to our gorgeous, lush garland on our sweetheart table. We also had to incorporate mirror signage into our wedding to pay homage to our very special and memorable engagement. We surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance… and the dancing didn’t stop there. I loved spinning and twirling in my dress – I felt just like a Disney princess at a ball. The night concluded with a sparkler send-off and all of our guests saying their goodbyes. It was the best day ever and I will not soon forget!
