Engaged:

Dan proposed at my family’s farm in Virginia. It is my favorite place in the whole world. We were visiting for the weekend and he wanted to go out to dinner. We took the dog on a quick walk before heading into town. On the walk he got down on one knee asked me to marry him. I cried so hard—I choked on my gum.  After I got my breath back, I said YES! Needless to say, I was totally surprised and he literally took my breath away!

Kleinfeld Consultant:

My dress was Pnina Tornai style #4372. I had spotted this dress on the show and I knew it was my dress. I made my appointment at Kleinfeld and headed into NYC with my sister and my Mom. It was the first one I tried on and my Mom cried right away. I tried on a few others after that, but I kept going back to that first dress. It was during a Pnina trunk show so I got to meet her! She was so sweet. There is really something special about her dresses— they are so well made, have the most beautiful details and really flatter your figure.

We got married at Mount Ida Farm—The Lodge just outside Charlottesville, Virginia on 11/3/2018. It was a perfect fall day and we were surrounded by all of our favorite people when we got married with the mountains as our backdrop. We had the most amazing venue and team of vendors that made our vision come to life. It was the perfect modern southern event—surrounded by lots of magnolia and monograms!
