Kleinfeld Love Stories

Daniella & James - 11/25/17

About the Proposal

Engaged:

March 25, 2017

Although James and I both went to Marist College, we met over a wink on Match.com. We had our first date at Madison’s Bar and Grill in Hoboken over Monday Night Football and beer. Fast forward a year and a half, on a rainy Saturday, we took our dogs Melvin and Thumper for a walk to my childhood park. James turned a gloomy weekend in to one to remember when he proposed near the pond with the dogs as our witnesses.

About the Dress

Designer:

Randy Fenoli  //

Kleinfeld Consultant:

Antonella

James and I were looking to get married in the fall of 2017. With such a short turn around time, I knew the best place for me would be Kleinfeld. We booked our venue in April and I made my appointment for the first weekend in May. I showed up with an entourage of 9 and 2 more via FaceTime. I came in thinking I wanted a long sleeved lace dress that made me look like I was floating. I tried it on and quickly realized that it was not for me. Antonella brought in a Randy Fenoli dress that happened to be there for a trunk show. I went in to show my family, and my mom began to cry, which is unlikely. This made me start to tear up and I knew this was the dress I wanted to stand next to James in. In total, I had tried on 6 dresses, my dress being the second. I tried it on for a second time and never looked back. It was Katherine, the fit and flare. It fit me perfectly and had a second layer of sequins, or as I called it, my mermaid scales. It shimmered and shined every time I moved.

Mid-way through the wedding I realized I lost the top button of my dress dancing so hard. I reached out to Kleinfeld on a whim to see if they had replacement buttons. Kara got right back to me and was able to get me not one, but two buttons. The fact that Kleinfeld went out of their way for something so minor speaks to your brand, reputation, and desire to make every bride feel special.

About the Wedding

Married:

November 25, 2017  //

Location:

Florham Park, NJ  //

Venue:

Brooklake Country Club

We were married at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ, or as my husband likes to call it, “a really nice golf course”. We were married outdoors on the last Saturday in November in what our matire d’ Peter called “a once in a lifetime day”. James and I had pink sunsets and starry skies for our photos. This went perfectly with our romance theme and colors of blood red and rose gold. Our florist Linda at The Florist Garden created beautiful bouquets made from black magic roses and calla lilies. Our groomsmen wore white calla lilies dipped in gold. James, our guests, and I danced the night away to tunes played by Jimmy Dee Entertainment.

When I first went to Kleinfeld I was approached about Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks. We were paired with our consultant Nora. We absolutely loved her. She gave us a break down comparing all of the hotels in the area. This helped us to simplify the process of choosing a hotel. She was effective, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Our out of town guests had a great time and a delightful brunch the morning after the wedding.

James and I recently received our stunning photos from Gabelli Studio and have enjoyed reliving the most magical night.
