Kleinfeld Love Stories

Engaged:

Adam proposed in the same place he asked me to be his girlfriend in Washington Square Park. He told me we’re going to have a picnic in the park with a friend which is not unusual for us. When we got there and our friend wasn’t there, I was so confused. Immediately, he grabbed my hand, took us to “our spot” and got down on one knee. I screamed “Oh my god, Adam” and immediately “Yes!” Right after, our families came out from behind the trees and ran over to us. In New York fashion, everyone in the park cheered for us. It was the most special proposal ever.

Kleinfeld Consultant:

I always knew I wanted to buy my dress at Kleinfeld. My mom got her dress there and it just felt right. Additionally, I was a “Say Yes to The Dress” mega fan. I watched every episode ever and I absolutely loved it. It even inspired me to intern in the bridal industry during college with bridal designers Hayley Paige, Lazaro, and Allison Webb.

Originally, the plan was to go to two other bridal salons just to get an idea of what I wanted, so that when I got to Kleinfeld, I had a better idea. After the first salon, we actually passed Kleinfeld. I didn’t have an appointment, but my mom said to go in and just see if they had cancellations. They confirmed that there wasn’t any availability but if anything came up, they would call me. 20 minutes later the phone rang. We ran there.

As soon as I walked in, it felt like a dream come true. My heart was pounding with excitement. I then realized that THE Randy Fenoli was there that day which made it seem even more special.

My consultant, Emily G., got my vision immediately. Every dress was absolutely stunning. Every time I came out, Emily and Randy asked me what my thoughts were. When I tried on THE dress, Randy was the one who asked me if I was saying “yes” to the dress.” As a super fan, this felt like absolute fate.

I chose the Avelina Gown by Anne Barge. It made me feel beautiful, sophisticated, modern, and classic all in one! It was the perfect gown.

The wedding was at The Rockleigh in Rockleigh, New Jersey. We had black-tie event on a Saturday night with 260 guests! The decor was filled with white flowers, candles, crystal chandeliers, and mirror accents to bring a traditional but modern feel. It was night a full of dancing, fun, and so much love!
