For more than 70 years, thousands of brides have traveled to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City to find their wedding day looks. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll feel the magic of Kleinfeld. Not only does Kleinfeld have 30,000 square feet filled with the largest selection of wedding dresses in the world, it also has the greatest professional staff of over 200 employees who are dedicated to finding and perfecting your bridal look.
Kleinfeld’s iconic, dome-shaped awnings, expansive glass doors, and award-winning window displays have greeted thousands of brides and their loved ones for decades. Instantly recognizable and highly photographed, our Manhattan storefront has symbolized a rite of passage for brides and become a notable keystone in Kleinfeld’s history.
After moving from a small bridal shop originally located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn to the current 35,000-square-foot, luxury showroom in 2005, the transition ignited the start of a booming bridal industry in Manhattan. Just a year later, Say Yes to the Dress aired on TLC and the bridal world was forever changed. Ever since, Kleinfeld Bridal has evolved into a household name and the #1 industry leader.
As one of the most significant visual representations of Kleinfeld’s history, success, and influence on the bridal world, we sat down with Jacques Vigneault. Since 2004, Jacques has served as Kleinfeld’s Creative Director. He has designed and executed Kleinfeld’s captivating window displays that have grabbed the attention of industry professionals, brides-to-be, and passerbyers alike.

Learn all about his path to success, the history, and inspiration behind Kleinfeld’s award-winning window displays below:
The foundation of Jacques’ success begins with his extensive background in fine arts. After completing a higher education in the arts, he pursued several roles in the creative field since graduating from university.
Jacques was first hired by Kleinfeld Bridal in 2004 as a space designer. He was quickly promoted to serve as the Creative Director for all visual aspects of Kleinfeld’s 35,000-square-foot, luxury showroom. For decades, Jacques has ideated and executed original designs that not only enhance the visual ambiance of the showroom, but also contribute to the functional flow of the store’s daily operation. From our spectacular window displays, grand floral arrangements, and versatile seating options to our spacious lobby and strategic showroom layout, Jacques’ innovative mind and hands have touched it all.
Over the years, Kleinfeld Bridal has won several prestigious awards thanks to Jacques, his team, and their commitment to elevating the Kleinfeld experience:
- Best Holiday Windows
- Best Valentines Day Windows
- Best Use of Color Windows
- Best White Windows
- Best Red Windows
When we asked Jacques what award or accomplishment he was most proud of, he simply and confidently answered, “keeping the brand visually fresh.” So much so that, “We have been copied. This is a sign of flattery.”
Most notably, when we inquired about the most important detail that he focuses on, he responded, “applying what I do to elevate the brand.” Jacques emphasized that his main goal and purpose is to not only utilize his skill set to create visuals that align with the Kleinfeld brand, but to constantly strive to elevate it.
