Unless you live under a rock, you know that the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones premieres this weekend, and the world is, basically, freaking out (and we are too). And better yet, GoT’s premiere episode falls in the midst of Spring Bridal Fashion Week, a very exciting time for us at Kleinfeld, and for you—because that means new fashion is coming! If you haven’t had the chance to read our blog, you might not know that 30 brand new LOVE by Pnina Tornai wedding dresses just arrived in store hot off the runway. To mark both exciting occasions, we’ve paired 8 locations from the Known World with wedding dresses we think a #GoT bride would wear on their wedding day. Check it out!

Iron Islands

The Iron Islands, home to the Greyjoys, is mostly castles upon rocks in the rough seas. Every ironborn is a seafaring individual and basically never leaves the water. With that, an ironborn bride will need a gown that can fare the choppy waters of Ironman’s Bay. We’re suggesting something with a minimal silhouette and lightweight fabric, like style 14778.

The Wall

Ah, the foreboding Wall. Standing at over 700 feet tall and 300 miles wide, the Wall, made entirely of ice, separates the Seven Kingdoms from the wildlings that live beyond the Wall. Besides the below-freezing temperatures, the ice-blue Wall and beyond is home to free people—and no rules. With that, we think a bride getting married at the Wall (what a view!) or beyond shouldn’t hold back. Enter: an icy, crystal encrusted, don’t-hold-back stunner, like style 14765.

King’s Landing

King’s Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms, is where the Iron Throne sits in the Red Keep—and where Cersei Lannister rules. Obviously, we need a dress fit for a queen here, and if the bride is anything like Cersei, a wedding dress fit for King’s Landing needs to be grand, beautiful, and impeccably embellished, like style 14757.

Winterfell

Home to House Stark and ruler of The North, Winterfell is cold, snowy and wooded—perfect for a winter forest wedding. We’re thinking long sleeves, romantic lace and a dramatic silk cathedral veil, enter: style 14781.

Dorne

Dorne is the southernmost part of Westeros and the only desert on the continent. While the majority of the land is vast desert and cliffs, the part of Dorne nearest the coast has a Spanish feel, with lush gardens, wild citrus trees and vibrant colors. No wonder producers chose Seville, Spain as the filming location for this gorgeous place! For the bride getting married in Dorne, treat it like a destination wedding, and go with a warm weather, carefree style with a beautiful train to trail down the hilly steps of Dorne, like style 14764.

Oldtown

Oldtown is the oldest city in Westeros and home to the Citadel, a place where archmaesters (think medically trained scholars) live and teach their students. Rich with history, we think of Oldtown like Oxford, home to Oxford University—beautiful, traditional and timeless, like style 14761.

Qarth

Qarth is a lush, rich city with a tropical feel. The people of Qarth adorn themselves in colorful clothing, jewels and gold, and the city is equally as lavish. The trading post is known as “the greatest city there ever was or ever will be”, so obviously you’ll need a dress to emulate that idea! With that, you’ll need something that’ll wow the pickiest people in all of Westeros—style 14754 and matching skirt should do.

Vaes Dothrak

Vaes Dothrak, the only Dothraki city and once home to Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo marks the birthplace of three very important pieces to the Game of Thrones puzzle—Daenarys’ dragons! This city is extremely hot, and if you’ve seen how the dragons were hatched, you know it gets hotter, so you’ll need to dress for the weather! The Dothraki women tend to show off a little skin, so you’ll want to fit in if you’re going to be the next Khaleesi—style 14768 should do the trick!
