Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Who did you bring?
Mother, mother in law, god mother and 4 bridesmaids
My visit to Kleinfeld exceeded all of my expectations. I visited with all the important women in my life who were visiting from all over the US and Canada so I was under a lot of pressure to find my dress on that day. I came in with a number of pictures of styles I was interested in trying on. Diane sat with me looked at my pictures asked me questions and then we hit the floor. She pulled some dresses that were similar to my pictures and then suggested a drop waist Pnina gown that was NOTHING like my pictures. She told me she thought it would be perfect and said I should just try it. I tried on two of my choices first, they were lovely but not quite right. I tried on the Pnina gown third and burst into tears. I walked out to show my family and friends who were speechless, and my mom crying asked "Have you found your dress" and I agreed this was perfect. There was a photographer there who asked if he could take a few shots, I agreed and Pnina was in the store that day. She came over, met with me and my family. She was gracious and kind, she spoke with everyone and came and took all my measurements herself. All of my fittings went smoothly and the fitting department actually worked with all of my bridesmaids on purchasing a surprise headpiece for me that the entire staff presented to me on my final fitting day since all of my bridesmaids live out of town and i was alone. it was wonderful and made me feel incredibly special. I reached out to Ronnie and Mara via email to inquire about the photographer that had been onsite the day I was there and had taken a few pictures of me in the gown and was put in contact with Jamie Levine. Jamie ended up shooting our wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. He was the most amazing photographer - he captured every moment without taking Dave and I away from what was happening by posing us or asking to take a picture again. He was invisible and yet never missed a thing. From start to finish the entire process was seamless and made our big day everything we hoped for.
