Who did you bring?
My mother and sister flew in from Seattle, my bridesmaids drove up from Virginia
I tried on several dresses and I knew this was the one as soon as I put it on. It made me want to twirl and dance! The most memorable part of my experience with Kleinfelds was the week that I had to pick up my dress was the week that Hurricane Sandy hit. No one had power, phone or gas. I was contacted by the owner of Kleinfelds via email that my dress was available for pickup for my wedding that weekend. I had to borrow a car with a tank full of gas to get from Clinton, NJ to the store at Kleinfelds where associates were pulling my dress out using flashlights. I waited 4 hours outside the Lincoln Tunnel in an apocalyptic scene. Once I got in and had my dress in my hands, I breathed a huge sigh of relief. Onward we went to my wedding destination in Charlottesville, VA where I could finally shower, eat a warm meal, and get married the following day. After all the stress that Hurricane Sandy caused, I had never felt more grateful and glorious as I did in this Jim Hjelm dress.
