Tails is the highest dress code in terms of formality, worn at white tie occasions. The tailcoat is black; short in front, with two long tails at back. The tailcoat is typically accompanied by matching trousers with a single stripe of satin braid down the side, white waistcoat, a white pique wing-collared shirt with stiff front, and a white bow tie.
