ISAAC MIZRAHI
Isaac Mizrahi has been a leader in the fashion industry for almost 30 years. Since his
first collection in 1987, Mr. Mizrahi's designs have come to stand for timeless,
cosmopolitan, style. Mr. Mizrahi is the recipient of many accolades including four Council
of Fashion Designers of America awards. He has had the distinct pleasure of dressing
some of the most distinguished women in the world including: Audrey Hepburn,
Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Coveted by Hollywood's most stylish, his classic designs are seen on the red carpet
worn by celebrities such as: Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, Rihanna, Mary- Kate
and Ashley Olsen, and Meryl Streep.
In December 2009, Isaac launched his lifestyle collection,”ISAACMIZRAHILIVE!,”
on QVC, the cable television shopping network. The brand includes all of Isaac’s
favorite things from handbags to dresses to cheesecakes. In 2003, Mr. Mizrahi
pioneered the concept of high design for the mass retailer with a successful partnership
with the Target Corporation.
In addition to designing for the luxury and mass markets, Mr. Mizrahi's passion for the
arts has led him to pursue projects in other areas of design. He has designed costumes
for the New York Metropolitan Opera, the American Ballet Theater, and the San
Francisco Ballet. In 2010, Mr. Mizrahi directed and designed the costumes and sets for a
production of "A Little Night Music" for the Opera Theater of St. Louis. Furthermore, he
was the subject and co-creator of "Unzipped," a documentary following the making of his
Fall, 1994 ready-to-wear collection. The groundbreaking film received the Audience
Choice for Excellence award at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
Mr. Mizrahi's media presence includes guest appearances on: "Sex and The City,"
"Gossip Girl," "Ugly Betty," and "Celebrity Jeopardy." Additionally, he has hosted his own
talk shows for the Oxygen Network and Style Network, "The Isaac Mizrahi Show" and
"ISAAC," respectively. Mr. Mizrahi's work on television continues, serving as head judge
on Lifetime's "Project Runway: All Stars."

"This was a labor of love for me. Bridal is where it all begins -- so i tried to bring things I love the most. There are floral inspirations in the embroideries, in the lace, in a lot of the draping. Also gingham, which is something I associate with happiness and Americana. I like the irony of creating THE most delicate gingham out of organza. Something one might associate with a rodeo or a hayride now has a gorgeous place walking down the aisle." ~Isaac
