DAVID FIELDEN
David Fielden, a British designer, began his career in theatre when he came across a horde of beautiful, old clothes dating from the turn of the century. After opening a shop in "Antiquarius" in the Kings Road he sold the antique clothes and wedding dresses until his supply diminished and he began designing his own collection of wedding dresses. Today, David uses traditional laces and silks combined with modern, unusual fabrics to produce avante-garde, creative, yet still sophisticated gowns. Uncompromising attention to detail, respect for women, and appreciation of fine fabrics and silhouettes are signatures of this label.
