Kleinfeld + Kleinfeld MEN made history with Good Morning America on Valentine's Day 2013 

You've heard of flash mobs but have you ever heard of a Flash Wedding?!

We helped one lucky man, Brian Bondy, pull off the surprise of a lifetime for his girlfriend, Melissa Cohn. Melissa transitioned from girlfriend to fiancé to wife in less than 60 minutes on Valentine's Day morning in the middle of Good Morning America's Times Square Studio. Yes, you read that right, Brian and Melissa went from dating to being engaged to being husband and wife in less than 60 minutes!!! Melissa also had no idea her best girlfriends (bridesmaids), her parents, his parents and his groomsmen all flew in from Michigan for the spectacular event. All the while keeping it hush hush until he popped the question!

7:30am The Bridal Party gets their hair, make up and accessories freshened up before they head outside for the big surprise!

8:10am An aerial shot of the couple in the middle of Times Square talking about their Extreme Date on GMA's Valentine's Day Extreme Date special (well, at least that's what Melissa thinks). Little does she know, they are there for a FLASH WEDDING ... 

... minutes later ...

8:15am Brian is down on one knee, asking Melissa for her hand in marriage.

8:25am The groom is getting his bow tie tied by Kleinfeld MEN Fashion Director, Frank Jedda. The groom was fitted in his tuxedo, shirt, pants and jacket in the lobby of his hotel at 6am that morning. All sewing was done in the GMA studios while the groom was outside proposing!!! 

8:30am The groom is ready!

8:25am Simultaneoulsy the Bride, Melissa, is getting fitted into her gown by Vera in the Kleinfeld Mini-Bridal Suite. Thank goodness she selected the Perla D lace up corset dress! Loretta (a Senior Fitter at Kleinfeld) is lacing Melissa up tight in the dress. Moments later the bride was running to the alter! 

8:40am THE WEDDING!!! See the ceremony here

8:45am  The Bride and Groom cut the cake that was made by Buddy, The Cake Boss! 

8:50am Family Portraits - both Fathers and the Groom are wearing Kleinfeld MEN Tuxedos and accessories 

8:52am The Bride was so excited her Beautiful Bridesmaids were there with her, their dresses were a perfect "Pretty in Pink" for Valentine's Day. Bridesmaids gowns courtesy of JLM Couture

8:53am The Groomsmen, Father of the Groom and the Groom pose for a picture in their perfectly fitted Tuxedos. We made the groomsmen custom bow ties to match the bridesmaids dresses. Kleinfeld MEN dressed, fitted and styled all of the men.  

8:54am We were able to steal the blushing bride for an amazing photo opp with Kleinfeld Fashion Director, Terry Hall, and Kleinfeld Alterations Manager, Vera Skenderis. Terry helped Melissa choose her bridal gown in less than 5 minutes! That's a Kleinfeld record!!! Vera helped fit her in the gown in less than 10 minutes!!! Another record for us!

9:00am The bride and groom pose for their photo as husband and wife. We had such a great time! Congratulations to the Brian and Melissa!
