Happy Presidents' Day Everyone! I thought it would be a fantastic idea to post some pictures of Presidential Weddings to celebrate our leading men and the beauties who helped them get to the White House. Looking at all of these pictures is a great trip down the road of wedding fashion and styles of the past you can really see how far the wedding gown has evolved. I'm keeping it short and sweet so you can get back to relaxing on your day off!

I think Jackie was such a beautiful bride. Loved that veil, have not seen anything like it since.

Fantastic pictures, Randy! It must have been fun to compile these photos. I have to say my favorite is the 1919 wedding duo of The Trumans, since I love the Roaring Twenties fashions. LOVE the wide-brimmed hat! I also love 90s wedding gowns, so Michelle and Barack are my other favorite wedding couple. Michelle is so lovely in the shoulder-wrapped gown and Barack is charming!! How adorable! Happy, Happy Presidents' Day!!!

Jackie O's dress was my favorite, by far! The invitaion to the royal wedding is more understated than I would have imagined, but it seems appropraite. That whole "commanded by the Queen to invite" seems so offical and really proves that its royal! Oh how I wish one of those was in my mailbox! How did you get that picture, Randy? Were you invited?

Wow, what a fabulous 'walk down memory lane' and a great tribute to President's Day! Fantastic! Love it! It showcased how styles and wedding sensibility have changed over the years from casual to the elaborate...and how styles come full circle. Just look at Jackie O wedding dress to JFK, this style is definitely back in vogue; check out Anne Barge's collection, I think she re-created it with a modern twist. Randy I'm surprised by many of the "un-traditional" wedding dresses chose by former first ladies. W don't see many long white gowns!
