Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let Us Ski!

As many know, winter really isn’t complete without a good ski trip and with as much snow as we've gotten so far this winter, we might as well get some fun out of it! One of the best experiences for skiing this winter can be found in gorgeous Vail, Colorado.

Rooms have fireplaces perfect for cuddling while enjoying the winter wonderland and gorgeous mountain views, as well as ski-in/ski-out access to the great slopes.

Their sunken 75-foot outdoor pool and two spacious outdoor whirlpools are heated year round, so guests can enjoy comfortable outdoor swimming and soaking in the wintertime, even when snow gently flurries overhead! After stepping out of the pool or whirlpool, you can enjoy the luxurious feel of heated towels and a warmed bathrobe and then relax by the poolside fireplace with a warm beverage—making it a perfect place for a great ski trip this season, especially for a romantic getaway!

I mentioned before Vail’s great dining but mentioning it really isn’t enough. If you claim to be a “foodie”, Vail is for you! In fact, Kelly Liken from Top Chef, Season 7 has her namesake restaurant in the heart of Vail Valley. Even if you go just for appetizers and wine, it is a “must-do” while in Vail. Accommodations and availability in Vail can go quickly so I would definitely recommend planning in advance!
