Just in @ Kleinfeld! Monique Lhuillier

Tulle was definitely the fabric this season for bridal fashion week, so I wanted to highlight a gown that used this timeless fabric in a modern way. Almost every designer showed this light and airy fabric on their runways and here is a lovely gown we just got in by Monique Lhuillier.

The bodice features a sweetheart neckline trimmed with lace and then delicately overlaid with sheer gathered tulle. The waist of the gown is accented with a narrow velvet ribbon in a creamy color.

The full A-Line tulle skirt has re-embroidered French Alencon lace at the hem. Monique then added another layer of tulle skirting to diffuse the lace and make it even softer, more romantic, and even more ethereal.

This gown literally looks like it's floating on air. It has a certain modernity about it, yet has an almost vintage feeling. Perfect for any season and for any bride who has fantasies of floating down the aisle and dancing on air at her reception.

What do you think girls?

I love this! It is so romantic and not too poofy! We want to be able to show our fabulous bodies afterall, and the thin belt at the waist really pulls it all together!

It's a beautiful gown but I'd love it even more if it had sleeves. I can't be the only bride out there who doesn't want a strapless gown!

Oh. I love it! Look at that lace and the soft look of the tulle. As a bride to be, they should make purses and shoes with that lace to match. It would be expensive but something I might just buy!! IreneZilla from LI

Oh my! I love it! I can just roll around in all these dresses they look so scrumptious. As a bride to be, why don't they make purses and perhaps shoes with Alencon lace to match? Might be pricey but I'd be one to buy that! Love it! IreneZilla from Long Island

The detail on the bottom of this gown is exquisite, not to mention the ever-so-romantic tulle! In my opinion, a wedding gown just isn't a wedding gown without either 1. TULLE! 2. A beautiful bodice. 3. Ornate detail Now, keep in mind, I also am a fan of lace, flower-details, ruffles, feathers, and beading... But this gown is a dream, and I think that it definitely is not a gown you see everyday. Elegant and romantic...I love most gowns by M. Lhuillier, but this one is definitely my favorite to date! BTW I must add I adore Pnina Tornai, and find that her beautiful and sexy gowns match her gorgeously-sweet personality. Likewise, I just want to say I had to add a wedding date to sign up on this site, but am not yet engaged :( BUT...When I am, I am coming for RANDY to syle me from head to toe and everywhere in between! Love you all, love the show, and LOVE THOSE GOWNS!

I like all the lace and the detailing on it as well as the shape of the gown. It isn't particularly my style but I do like how the waist is so delicately accented.

OMG! I love this gown. Does anyone know if you can get the top portion of the gown changed? I'd need a higher neck and long sleeves. I loove this gown. Monique Lhuillier is awesome!

I'm not a huge fan of the dropped waist, but that is mostly because I have a long torso so dropped waists make my look disproportionate. Other than that it is simple gorgeous. I LOVE the tulle and lace. I know it's traditional, but I am so over satin wedding dresses. This dress has a fresh, elegant feel. I agree with you Randy, I bet the bride who wears it really does feel like they are floating.
