To all you fabulous brides waiting to come in and try on wedding dresses, I have two very exciting announcements...


First, Monique Lhuillier has designed a brand new collection called Bliss and I am happy to say that we will be one of the first stores to receive the collection! Bliss will include 14 dresses, all with that fabulous, young, sexy, "Monique" look we have come to know and love. But the best part of the collection is its affordability! The dresses range from $2400 to $3500 so the bride on a budget can still wear the Monique Lhuillier label.






Remember to check our facebook page to be the first to know when Bliss makes its debut at Kleinfeld!

My second announcement is not a new collection, but a new designer to an already established and very successful label that has given us beautiful dresses time and time again. The Jim Hjelm Group is excited to announce a new designer for their Alvina Valenta label. Alvina Valenta dresses possess a timeless elegance and are figure flattering for all shapes and sizes. The designer’s name is Jessica Williams and I cannot wait to see what she will create!

I am definitly an absolute fan of these dresses, but I would kick myself for spending this kind of money, being a 'bride on a budget myself'. It's disappointing to see a headline like this especially in our current days of economic distress.

Hi Marisand, remember that bridal sizes run very differently then ready to wear. they tend to run two sizes smaller then what they actually are. We will have many larger sized gowns in our sample sale so you shouldnt have a problem with the size. The only thing that may be a concern is the lengths. You said youre tall.The gowns have a standard length which is anywhere from 58" to 61" depending on the designer.(thats from your hollow of neck to the hem). i still would come to the sale...I'm sure you'll find something!! Now the right dress is key, so why don't you go to a blow out sale? get the dress in a sample size that's bigger than you are, be creative, that's what makes the difference in brides. the creative and wise bride will find her dress no matter the budget. Now, be thankful we have our own man whom no one else may take, and the budget won't be on our minds when we are at the alter. Nor will the amount of money we do or don't spend. Unless of course you took out a reverse morgage on your house to afford your dreams come true. I would cry then if i were you.

Here is what I do recell: the girl was very petit, asian, buying her second dress, and she wanted something architectural or she was an architect?? I cant recall. If you have any idea which dress this might be I would love to have it for my wedding.
