Just got this stunning new gown in by Pnina Tornai!



Luxurious silk satin ruched around the body with a side front beaded lace godet adorned with cascading silk roses.

Definitely a gown made for a dramatic entrance!

You may think I would only choose this gown for a taller bride with a perfect body. However, because Pnina can take special measurements, this gown can be made with the perfect proportions that will flatter a petite figure as well. Also the ruching can be very forgiving, and the built-in corset will cinch in your waist like Scarlet O'Hara!

I love this style of gown but have found that on my 5'4" very hourglass-y figure that this style make me look very short and stumpy. I tend to look best in a low-waisted gown where the skirt begins slightly below the hip bones. Can you offer any advice as to this dress? Thank you!

Most gowns come in one length and then have to be hemmed. If you are very petite, you would lose most of the lace on this dress and it would flare out below your knee instead of above the knee. She would shorten the torso, and shorten the lace godet. She may even reduce the amount of silk flowers or reduce the size of them so they wouldn't overpower you. BTW, jeweltutu there are other Pninas that have some of the same features. Check out her Style No. 31909419, this one adds some more drama if thats what you like. Also, her Style No: 31574544 is like the original dress times 5!

Anyway, I've actually been thinking about your question, and I do have someting to say-it is a lot of trips, but it's absolutly worth it. Pnina Tornai is only sold in two places; Kleinfled and Israel so if you really love this dress, there is no compromise.
